Dr. Earl F. Davis. my professor of taxation has died at age 82. His obituary is in the Athen Banner Herald today. He was a great tax professor who cared for his students as very few did. His student progeny is great and will remain a testament to his life's work. He was a legend in the class room, always demanding the best from his students. In my opinion, he made the University of Georgia's tax program.
